According to the results of Google Frightgeist, the most searched costume of the year goes to Fortnite. The costume based on a video game has been super popular among U.S. residents, with costumes inspired by Spider-Man, unicorns, dinosaurs, witches, and Harley Quinn following close behind.
Other popular costumes this year include zombies, mermaids, Wonder Woman, Black Panther and pumpkins.
