Google Maps Street View has captured a rather sad looking woman in Russia.
Spotted in the middle of the road, the girl was dressed in a blue dress and black sandals.
There was no-one else around her with an unidentified object next to her on the tarmac.
She didn’t look very happy to be spotted by the camera.
The woman was sitting with her arms crossed, looking resigned as she sat on the ground.
Her knees were also slightly dirty as she slumped over and looked towards the Google car.
What she was doing or what happened next was not revealed by the following images.
It remains a mystery as to what caused her to sit so forlornly in the middle of the road.
Another woman in Poland was spotted in a very sad situation with her head in her hands.
The woman was captured with a dancing bride and groom in a beautiful castle.
As the couple danced, she looked very sad and appeared to be crying.
Other images reveal a man who seemed to be her partner, but was not on the floor dancing with her.
She may have been upset not to join in the festivities with the married pair.
Google Maps, while often spotting funny situations, was not primarily invented for this reason.
Google Maps Street View, created in 2007 two years after Google Maps, aimed to map out roads and streets to allow people to search for addresses.
It has since advanced in the following 11 years to allow panoramic views inside buildings and of natural landmarks.
Even the most remote areas such as the Faroe Islands have been mapped thanks to unusual techniques of camera work.
Sheep were used to plot the ground, dubbed Sheep View.
